Are We?
Thame is a charming old market town
in the county of Oxfordshire, close to the Chiltern Hills.
The town offers an ideal place for family shopping. It is
served with ample parking, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs
and hotels. A cheery and colourful market is held, by charter,
on Tuesdays, with an abundance of products.
The town is 14 miles east of Oxford,
10 miles south-west of Aylesbury and 47 miles from London.
To the west of Thame the A418 joins with the M40 motorway
linking London to Birmingham.
In the north eastern direction the A418
from Leighton Buzzard links with the M1 motorway at Aspley
Guise and intersects with the A5 trunk road to the north.
To the west of Thame the A418 joins
the A40 trunk road. There are also roads from Thame to Princes
Risborough A4129, Chinnor B4445 and Bicester B4011.
